I purchased this product on January 2, 2010. It just died six months later. I brought the product to a vacuum repair place and they said the motor died and said it's not worth fixing. I called Sears and they said because I didn't buy the warranty, there is nothing they can do. Instead they referred me to the manufacturer. I am on hold right now with the manufactuer, who I am skeptical will do anything. I will NEVER buy anything from Sears ever again.
